Call for SAR Awards Nominations

The National Search and Rescue Secretariat's (NSS) annual Awards Program recognizes individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to search and rescue (SAR) in Canada.

You are invited to submit nominations for the Outstanding SAR Achievement Award by July 9, 2008. The Outstanding SAR Achievement Award and Certificates of Merit will be presented during the SARSCENE Conference on Saturday October 18, 2008 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The award is presented to an individual or group that has enhanced Canadian SAR through commitment and dedication.

Please ensure nominations cover in detail the criteria and follows the guidelines as stated in the Award Rules. Two references must also be included in the nominations form. The nomination form and document stating the rules, criteria and guidelines can be found attached as well as on the NSS website.
