Pre-workshops

The following pre-workshop training sessions were held at SARSCENE 2005:

  • New Lost Person Behaviour Profiles Database, by Robert Koester of DbS SAR,
  • Caring for your Wounded Rescue Dog in the Field by Dr. Leigh Lamont, Dr. Hans Gelens and Dr. Richard Walshaw of the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island,
  • Cold Water Rescue Training, by Phil Walker of the Coast Guard Rescue Training Centre,
  • USAR Operations and the Toronto HUSAR Experience, by Bill Neadles and Alan Wingfield, and,
  • Incident Command System, Level 200, by Parks Canada

The Secretariat may be able to provide a meeting room for your course at the workshop hotel. However, registration, logistics and other arrangements for the training session are the responsibility of the trainer.
